yaaaaaay~ final draft of the resume! or i hope so anyway. i'm hoping to submit this to a couple of places, and seeing what feedback i get. so many great opportunities for shots today but i left my camera at home, so a big disappointment there. the moon looked nice tonight too but a moon isn't something you can creep quietly up to and snap a pic of. in other words, my zoom SUCKS. besides that, it was a fun day considering the long walk, which i would normally not enjoy -__-;; and it's always great to have good company. peter's holding a barbecue this sunday. wonder how many people are coming. tired. updating ipod and then hopefully some wink.

resume writing.

today, jess taught me the first thing to writing a lesson: having a template. must admit that after getting that template it wasn't as hard as i thought it was. but god damn, so many lines to fill out. and flat out exaggerating everything i've ever done to sound so great. i spent a whole half a day on this crap. and at the end of the day this is all i've got:

i give up. signing up for gmail now is ridiculous. nothing looks quite impressive enough to do anything with. at least staples sounds decent, for a retail job. the one that sounds most interesting is web design for sliceofrice, i guess. but even with that, i didn't even get paid.

whew. finally, i'm down to yesterday's pics. i guess i should really get into the habit of emptying my camera contents more often. but i get lazy and now that i have my 1gb card (yay!) it doesn't strike me as necessary, compared to before when i had to empty it every 16 pics or so, which is about every half an hour at the rate i take em, heh. this isn't such a nice pic, but the dragonfly was beautiful. the pic doesn't do it justice. i decided to post it anyway since this is my ONE accomplishment of being able to take a pic of something before it runs away, with this crappy zoom. i just zoomed it like crazy, set the focus on and came up as close as i could without threatening it. and slowly. man that took like a whole 5 minutes of my life but i did it! ok, moving on now.

this was just something i saw through one of the shop windows near downtown, right before macy's. i think it must've been an art store of some sort, cuz they had household furnishings selling inside. looked too expensive for me to go in and look like a loser so the only pic i took was this. i love it. i feel like i just took a pic of some ancient artifact. i wonder who the artist of this was.

this was across the street from the ne medical center. i thought the green, blue, and red clash nicely, so i wanted to take a pic of it with the perspective and everything. funny how all the people on the left seem to be lined up. that girl on the front looks pretty pissed for some reason. OOH! i also witnessed an arrest in mcdonalds yesterday. thought i should mention that, it was my first. the guy was just sitting there and the cop was all like "NOW DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME??" and had 2 guys hold his head down on the table with his arms behind him. ashley thought it was fun but i was kind of horrified.

and finally, this was just at my house, and i saw the light shine on the stairs interestingly. just thought i'd capture the moment before i lost it. aaaaand i'm done.
