this was mike's drawing of the statue of liberty in the game brain age on the nintendo ds xD it made me laugh so i took a pic of it just for keepsakes, cuz the game doesn't save the pics after comparing them with other players. too bad all those lines come up when i try to take a pic of lcds.

and this is just a random shot of the sky over the charles river while we were turning onto storrow drive. i had my head out the window like a dog the whole time, and i guess this was a bit of a lucky/timely shot. the sky looks so beautiful.

this is on the same day (6/26) and this was when we were stuck in fenway after the game ended. we were just going to the gas station outside the stadium and we got stuck, cuz none of those asses in the cars in the pic here would let us go. so while stuck waiting for a turn, i stuck my head out the window, set it on black and white and took a pic of the stadium. i love that budweiser sign =)

this was taken 6/27/06. i'm just browsing through my xd card now so i'm sorting through which i like and which i don't, and cataloguing them into their specific folders. i just really like the sky in this for some reason. this was at south bay center, and it was an awfully nice day. i think that was the day mike got mad at me cuz i took a pic of everything i saw, lol. but anyway, i was surprised i got a seagull in there cuz it was so frustrating when i kept trying to take pics of the seagulls but have them fly away if i come too close. i love my friggin camera but god damn it the zoom sucks! i have to walk up and do it myself. i swear that's gonna make me cause a traffic accident someday. and then i'll sue fuji, ha ha ha. -__-;;

this was on the same day. i was surprised that the fence actually came out since i was in mike's car and he was going 40+, as usual. AND the fast shutter speed option isn't even on. sometimes my camera surprises me. too lazy to edit that pole out. i think it looks fine as is. i'm no perfectionist so whatever.

this was probably in waltham somewhere. i got mad at mike the other day, though i was probably just pmsing--that he was lazy and didn't go out with me when i asked, and that the sun was going down already. i made a big deal out of it and cried and everything (oh yeah i was pmsing) and he just stuck me in his car and babied me and we drove in a straight direction west, to "chase the sun" he said. i thought it was the sweetest thing ever. we drove until we got to lincoln (where the hell?). we saw the "welcome to LINCOLN" sign and we both just freaked out, and it was getting dark (haha how could a car possibly be faster than the sun?) so we just both decided to turn back before we got stuck in this remote location for the night, in the dark, with nothing but headlights.

this was also in waltham, though probably nearing lincoln. we drove in a straight line west, starting boston/roxbury, then into brookline, brighton, watertown, waltham, then, i guess finally, lincoln. this was all within 1 hour and this was on 6/30... i think this shot would've probably looked better if i took it outside the car but hey, what can you do. plus that light on the left is so distracting. i swear i'm about to photoshop that out. why do suburbs have so many telephone poles? and those whatchamacallits sticking up were on a big hill with a huge forest on it. it was so pretty. made me wanna go hike up the damn thing. i wish i remembered what the hill was called. hell, i should've taken a picture, but what can you do.

EDIT: "Bear Hill, west of I95, is home to a number of antennas, and is now being developed for housing." how sad. the hill's name is called archstone bear hill. developed for housing means that beautiful forest i saw there won't be there much longer. that really makes me sad.
