this was probably in waltham somewhere. i got mad at mike the other day, though i was probably just pmsing--that he was lazy and didn't go out with me when i asked, and that the sun was going down already. i made a big deal out of it and cried and everything (oh yeah i was pmsing) and he just stuck me in his car and babied me and we drove in a straight direction west, to "chase the sun" he said. i thought it was the sweetest thing ever. we drove until we got to lincoln (where the hell?). we saw the "welcome to LINCOLN" sign and we both just freaked out, and it was getting dark (haha how could a car possibly be faster than the sun?) so we just both decided to turn back before we got stuck in this remote location for the night, in the dark, with nothing but headlights.

this was also in waltham, though probably nearing lincoln. we drove in a straight line west, starting boston/roxbury, then into brookline, brighton, watertown, waltham, then, i guess finally, lincoln. this was all within 1 hour and this was on 6/30... i think this shot would've probably looked better if i took it outside the car but hey, what can you do. plus that light on the left is so distracting. i swear i'm about to photoshop that out. why do suburbs have so many telephone poles? and those whatchamacallits sticking up were on a big hill with a huge forest on it. it was so pretty. made me wanna go hike up the damn thing. i wish i remembered what the hill was called. hell, i should've taken a picture, but what can you do.

EDIT: "Bear Hill, west of I95, is home to a number of antennas, and is now being developed for housing." how sad. the hill's name is called archstone bear hill. developed for housing means that beautiful forest i saw there won't be there much longer. that really makes me sad.
